Questions before you book

What shapes the perfect trip?
  • When you're visiting — every Gulf species has a season and bag limit (red snapper runs June 1 through October 24).
  • What you're after — a relaxed day with dinner to take home, or drag-screaming, fill-the-freezer action.
  • Experience level — none needed; teaching first-timers is one of our favorite parts of the job.
  • Tackle preference — ultra-light, conventional, or electric reels for the deep drops.
  • Trip length — half-day mornings run a tight schedule; afternoons have room to stretch when the bite is on.
  • Target species — grouper, red snapper, amberjack, vermilion snapper, triggerfish, king mackerel.
How many people can come?

Every charter is private — just your group, up to six passengers.

Can we bring the kids?

Kids are always welcome. There's really no age too young to come aboard, and ages 4 and up can reel in fish of their own. More on kid-friendly trips.
